From the Exhibition: EXTRAordinary - Ambulance Officers - interviews & photographs.
In a week as a volunteer I'd have been doing 80-110
hours a week. That was tiring but you didn’t quibble
about it as you wanted the work. During the summer I
was working as well. I'd start work at 8 in the morning
and finish about 6 o'clock and then I'd do a night shift.
